Ongava Private Game Reserve is located near the southern entrance of Etosha National Park. The nearest major airport is Windhoek International Airport (Hosea Kutako International Airport) and the Ongava Game Reserve is 470 km away.
The drive from Windhoek to Ongava (430 km) along a paved main road. follow the B1 to Otjiwarongo, then take the C38 through Outjo towards Okaukuejo. At the signpost indicating Ongava, make a left turn off the tarmac road.
The entrance to the Ongava Game Reserve is situated across from the Ombika Gate entrance to Etosha National Park.
