Dolomite Camp in northwestern Etosha National Park has 20 chalets with thatched roofs and canvas walls built on elevated wooden decks on the outer edges of a dolomite ridge.
There are 3 Deluxe Chalets at Dolomite Camp in Etosha National Park that have a private plunge pool where you can cool down during hot summer days. Deluxe Chalets are east-facing and have a large veranda so you can witness the sunrise in all its glory.
The 17 Bush Chalets face either east or west so you either see the sunrise or sunset - both are spectacular at Dolomite Camp.
The rooms with the best views of the waterhole (12, 13, 14) are furthest away from the reception and restaurant. A golf cart shuttle takes you and your luggage to your room - for elderly guests or those with mobility issues try to book a room closer to the main lodge and restaurant or you will be reliant on waiting for a shuttle to return to your room.
Dolomite Camp is unfenced so guests are not allowed to walk at night without being escorted by a staff member for their safety.
WiFi is available at reception, the lounge, bar and pool areas although it is often unreliable. There is limited cellphone reception.
