Shipwreck Lodge is located in the famous Skeleton Coast Central Concession, between the Hoarusib and Hoanib River in the Skeleton Coast Park.
The easiest way for you to reach Shipwreck Lodge is to fly from either Windhoek or Swakopmund to Möwe Bay via light aircraft. From there, we can arrange your private transfer to the lodge, located 45 kilometres away. This is the perfect way to get your first glimpse at the Skeleton Coast’s extraordinary landscapes. You might even get to experience a few lucky animal sightings too!
Our Destination Specialists can arrange each leg of the journey, and even if you would prefer to self-drive, we can also help with vehicle hire. One thing to keep in mind when travelling to Skeleton Lodge, is that you can’t reach the lodge on your own steam.
Self-drivers are unfortunately not allowed to drive through the Skeleton Coast National Park so you will still need to park at Möwe Bay.
