This Namibia safari lodge lies between the Mudumu and Nkasa Lulapa national parks, enjoying a region of woodland and grassland in the Caprivi region. Located in the southern part of the Wuparo Conservancy, the lodge is positioned on the Lupala Island.
Katima Mulilo Airport, also known as Mpacha Airport, is situated 125km from the lodge. The airport serves regular flights form Windhoek and road transfers are available from the airport. Transfers can also be arranged from the airports in Victoria Falls, Kasane and Johannesburg.
From Kongola and Katima Mulilo, follow the C49 in the direction of the Nkasa Lulapa National Park (formerly Mamili) until you reach the junction to the Sangwali village. The C49 road is a perfect and maintained gravel road from Kongola and mainly tarred from Katima Mulilo.
From Sangwali, take the road to the Nkasa Lulapa National Park. Self-drives should be taken in 4x4 vehicles, or the lodge can arrange a pick-up from there Sangwali where there is a safe parking for normal vehicles.
Continue on the road to the park until you reach the Shisintze ranger station, then drive East for 1km and you will arrive at Nkasa Lupala Tented Lodge.
