Heinitzburg Boutique Hotel is situated on the 'Luxury Hill,' 5 minutes drive from Windhoek city centre, overlooking the Namibian capital and its remarkable highlands.
Commissioned in 1914 by Count von Schewerin for his fiancée, Margarethe von Heinitz. In 1966 this German castle was turned into a private owned hotel with 16 rooms, a fantastic restaurant and a wine cellar, as well as a swimming pool, all boasting spectacular views.
When the Count commissioned Castle Heinitzburg, love was his inspiration, elegance was his achievement. This has preserved and his vision to combine comfort with luxurious charm.
