Come and enjoy some adventure activities during your holiday in Livingstone, Zambia. Whether its white-water rafting, microlight flights over Victoria Falls or bungee jumping, there is sure to be something to get your heart racing.In recent years the tourism structure and activities on offer on the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls has boomed. No longer should Livingstone be considered Victoria Falls poor cousin.

Many of the extreme activities are conducted on the river which serves as the border between the two countries. Adrenaline junkies can delight in some of the ultimate rushes while in on holiday in Livingstone.

Bungee Jumping

One of the extreme sports most associated with the Victoria Falls is Bunji jumping. This takes place from the centre of the Victoria Falls Bridge. This is one of the highest commercial bungee jumps in the world. Feel the thrill and the adrenaline rush as you fling yourself off the bridge, followed by the jerk of the cord stopping you from hitting the water.

White Water Rafting

The other adventure activity that Livingstone and the Victoria Falls are best known for its White Water Rafting. A trip down the Zambezi is considered to be one of the best one day rafting trips in the world. The stretch of river that is covered offers some of the most challenging rapids in the world.

Abseiling

Test your strength and endurance with a session of abseiling down the sheer rock-face of the Batoka Gorge. Once at the bottom you can choose to hike back up or be hauled back up to the top for another attempt. There is also a high wire and gorge swing, which allow you to experience the sensation of flying through the air.

River Boarding or Kayaking

This is like body boarding, except it is more challenging as it is conducted on the mighty Zambezi River. Wearing a helmet and life vest you will travel down the river on nothing except a body board or kayak. These sessions of River boarding usually form interludes between taking on the rapids while white-water rafting.

Quad Biking

Set out through the rugged wilderness surrounding Livingstone on a quad biking adventure. These tours can include eco-safaris that allow you to experience the amazing views and diverse wildlife of the area. Tours can also include visits to local villages where visitors can learn about the local way of life.
