The climate in this area is warm during the day and cool at night, without humidity. Many splendid evenings are spent around the campfire enjoying a barbeque and in the mornings not much can top a wonderful bush breakfast on the open plains.

Seasons

Elephant Tree Camp is a seasonal camp; it is packed away during the rainy seasons generally at the following times of year which may vary on an yearly basis: April, May, November and the early part of December.

Private air charter is possible or guests can take regular air flights to these airstrips:

Mara Buffalo / Shikar Airstrip

There is a variety of scheduled air services to this airstrip which is a 15 minute drive / transfer to the camp.

Musiara Airstrip

There is a variety of scheduled air services to this airstrip which is a 60 minute drive / transfer to the camp; transfer and park fees are charged by the camp.
