Your Elephant Pepper Camp Experience

The setting of the Koiyaki wilderness area is special and protected; guests will find a romantic and eco-friendly camp far from crowds and bustling lodges for an idyllic Masai Mara safari in Kenya.

At Elephant Pepper Camp, guests can relax in the exclusive comfort of 8 wonderful and spacious safari tents, honeymooners will be delighted with their bridal retreat, and this unique experience will make unforgettable memories on a Kenyan safari holiday.

This Masai Mara safari camp, which is named after the Elephant Pepper tree, is located in a natural forest and looks out over the Masai Mara plains and its lush savannahs, an area which, twice a year, becomes the centre of a thundering Wildebeest and Zebra migration, really quite a life changing event to witness.

Apart from the migration, guests here can see an amazing array of wildlife including the Big Cats and Elephant, huge varieties of plains game, birds, riverine wildlife and scenery, truly a very special eco-system.

Guests can expect a warm welcome, Northern Italian cuisine and other classic meals in a variety of settings whether as a sit-down dinner in the main lantern-lit tent or in the bush. A camp fire meal, with the sounds of the wilderness and fabulous starry skies setting the scene is a memorable event.

Game drives are a delight by day or night, and to get really close to nature and the thrill of the bush, guided wilderness walks are available. For an insight into life on the Mara, there are cultural visits to a local village.

Elephant Tree Camp is a seasonal camp and is dismantled during the rainy seasons generally at the following times of year which may vary on an annual basis: April, May, November and the early part of December.
