
Governors' Camp offers Masai Mara accommodation in tents set amongst the trees along the Mara river, also has unrivalled views over the plains.
All guest facilities are under canvas and keep the authentic, traditional safari atmosphere. All guest tents have en-suite bathrooms with a shower and basin, running cold and hot water as well as a flush toilet. Gas and paraffin lamps are used for lighting for your Kenya accommodation.
Each tent has a private verandah where you can relax and possibly see some wildlife saunter past, as Governors Camp is unfenced and has frequent elephant visitors.
Family tents have 2 en-suite bedrooms consisting of a double bed and two single beds, connected to a central living area, so you can bring the whole family on safari.
The Governors' Cub Club offers entertainment and conservation education for kids. Tree planting, identifying animal tracks and footprints, identifying birds, target practice using handmade wooden bows and arrows as well as Maasai beaded jewellery making.
Governors Camp guides are great with kids on game drives. Please note families with children under 10 years old must book a private vehicle so that game drives can be tailored to your family's needs.

The dining area, open fire place and the bar tent are in the centre of the camp. Next to the reception is a small gallery with local paintings and handcrafts as well as a small souvenir shop.
Breakfast and lunch are served buffet style in the open at your Governors' Camp Kenya accommodation. Dinner is served in the restaurant tent, there is a menu with a choice of main courses. As part of your Kenya safari experience, a traditional camp fire is lit at sunset every evening.
There are also romantic private dinners and sundowners set up overlooking the river.
