Both Chikoko Trails Camps use local materials as far as possible and have en-suite toilets, wash hand basins and showers. Views from the camps are punctuated by wandering game. The camps are completely refurbished during their closed period every year.
This camp consists of three twin chalets which are situated on raised stilts, high above the ground so they are level with the surrounding tree canopy. This lofty position means that guests are ideally placed to see the wandering wildlife. The camp is reached on a two to three hour bush walk and guests luggage is carried in by porters. The camp staff is excellent and can arrange for romantic dinners under the stars as well as take care of all other needs.
This camp offers accommodation in three twin chalets which are sustainably built out of natural materials. The chalets are sheltered by giant Leadwood trees and overlook a dambo where a lot of the animals come down to drink. The camp can only be reached by walking. The walk takes a scenic route and takes several hours. Guests' luggage is carried in on a more direct route by porters. There are no roads in the area and safari activities primarily consist of bush walks. The attentive staff will assist you with sumptuous meals and delicious snacks.
