Chindeni Bushcamp is set on the banks of one of the peaceful Luangwa River lagoons in South Luangwa Valley in Zambia. The lagoon is home to hippo, crocodile and an array of birdlife.
Flying from Lusaka to Mfuwe International Airport takes 1hr 10mins. Guests will be met at Mfuwe International Airport and taken by vehicle to Mfuwe Lodge (45 mins) before travelling for 2.5 hours to Chindeni Bushcamp. Enjoy game viewing en-route through the South Luangwa National Park.
The vegetation of the Luangwa River Valley changes with the seasons. In winter, the region is dry and barren but when summer arrives, the rain transforms the surroundings of South Luangwa Valley into a lush and fertile wilderness wonderland.
The South Luangwa Valley in Zambia is home to various species of wildlife. This Park is heralded as one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries in Africa because of this diversity.
