Day 1: An Exclusive Londolozi Safari
Go on, get comfortable. Make full use of the premier lounge at the airport just before you embark on your scheduled flight from Johannesburg to the Londolozi Airstrip via Nelspruit.
Keep your eyes peeled on a mini-safari road transfer which will take you straight to the Londolozi Reserve, tucked away in the private Sabi Sands concession. You’ll spend the next three nights in one of their ultra-luxurious private granite suites suspended above the Sand River.
At Londolozi, an exclusive safari experience is the order of the day, from the time you fall asleep, to the moment you wake. Be prepared to spend your time treated like absolute royalty as you top up your travel bucket with adventure-filled activities encountering the acclaimed members of South Africa’s Big 5.
Day 2 - 3: Lodge Life at Londolozi
The atmosphere at Londolozi is soulful, calming, and extremely comfortable. It’s common to see herds of elephants wandering through the riverways below, which makes the sunset river bar and sunken cocktail lounge just the place to be during the afternoon.
Expert-led game drives disembark during the early mornings and late afternoons (which run into the evening), as it is during these times that the wildlife is most active. The Sabi Sands lies adjacent to Kruger with no fences in between so the animals can roam into this area. In this private concession, safari vehicles can venture off-road, unlike in the Kruger, which makes for even better game viewing opportunities. If you’d like to head out on foot, you can also try a guided walk after breakfast.
Remember, these activities are completely optional, so if perhaps one morning you’re not quite ready to drag yourself away from the comfort of your private suite, then by all means make the most of your king size bed…
Day 4: From the Bushveld to the Beach
As part of the Relais & Châteaux association, superb cuisine is an essential part of the Londolozi experience. After one last breakfast to savour today, it's off to the Londolozi Airstrip to connect with a flight via Nelspruit to Vilanculos, Mozambique.
A private helicopter transfer from the Vilanculos airstrip will take you straight to Benguerra Island resort, an enchanting 5-star holiday haven on the private tropical island of Benguerra. Travelling from inland to the coast has never been easier, or more comfortable!
Over the next few nights, you’ll experience island life at its very best, with exceptional service and absolute luxury in beach villa accommodation only a few short steps from the sea.
Day 5 - 9: Live Your Best Island Life
Benguerra features a range of water activities to dabble in, such as kayaking, paddle boarding and scuba diving. Keep your camera ready for turtles nesting on the island, migrating whales, dolphins and the elusive dugong.
Of course, you will be fully encouraged to find your spot to simply spawl out on the silky beach, while Benguerra’s butler-hosts attend to your every need. The ‘eco-chic’ villas promote absolute luxury and seclusion at all times, with what-more-could-you-need amenities such as king size beds, air-conditioning and private day beds.

Day 10: Say Adeus, or Extend Your Holiday
After breakfast and a short transfer by road to the airstrip, a private helicopter will take you to Vilanculos Airport for a scheduled flight back to Johannesburg or Cape Town should you want to extend your stay in South Africa.
