
This South Luangwa accommodation is designed so that you will always be looking at the Luangwa River or the bush, whether it is from the sitting room or your own bedroom.
The Nkwali Camp bar and sitting area is open and sits against a massive ebony tree, about 400 years old. There is a deck built out over the river that provides a romantic ambiance for moonlit dinners.

Each of the 6 comfortable and spacious chalets are built of woven bamboo and boast thatched roofs and a huge open window through which you receive beautiful views of the river and game drinking while relaxing in comfort. There are open en-suite bathrooms, ideal for outdoor showers while watching the birds and monkeys play in the trees above.

Families can enjoy South Luangwa accommodation in the Family Suite at Nkwali Camp. It has a main en-suite bedroom and an extra bedroom (no bathroom), Children over 7 are welcome, however younger children can be accommodated if the camp is booked for exclusive-use.

The central dining area, swimming pool, and firepit create a relaxed atmosphere. Meals are served under the trees, beside the lagoon, on the deck, or even in the bush. The swimming pool is often visited by game and other four-legged creatures in the warmer months.
