Puku Ridge Camp is situated in South Luangwa in Zambia. This property was been established on a ridge overlooking the game rich floodplains of the Kakumbi dambo (valley) in South Luangwa. Puku Ridge Camp was named after the shy Puku Antelope, that you may be lucky enough to see whilst on your African safari travel.

The Luangwa River in Zambia is the most intact major river system in Africa and is the life blood of the Park's 9 050km2. The changing seasons add to the richness ranging from dry, bare Bushveld in the winter to a lush green wilderness in the summer months.

South Luangwa hosts a wide variety of wildlife and vegetation. The famous ‘walking safari’ originated in South Luangwa, Zambia and is still one of the finest ways to experience this pristine wilderness first hand.

Getting There

The transfer time from Mfuwe airport to Puku Ridge Camp is approximately 2 hours in 4X4 vehicles - 45 minute road transfer - followed by 1 hour 15 minute gravel road transfer with game viewing possibilities). Please note the luggage restriction is 15kg per person in a soft-sided bag.
