Transfers from Richards Bay Airport to Phinda Private Game Reserve in South Africa are available by road (approximately 2 hours) or by light aircraft (approximately 30 minutes). Transfers are at an additional cost and subject to availability of aircraft and weather conditions.

Transfer by road from Durban International Airport to Phinda in an air-conditioned minibus (3 hours) and a one-hour air transfer is also available. Phinda can be accessed by road in a two-wheel drive vehicle, driving time from Johannesburg is 6 hours and from Durban is 3 hours, on excellent roads from both cities.
