Day 1: Johannesburg - Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

In the morning you will catch a flight from Johannesburg to Victoria Falls. Once you have completed immigration, you will be met by your guide. Go on a tour of the Victoria Falls. You will pass through a scenic rainforest which is created by the spray from the waterfall. The guide will tell you interesting facts and history about the region.

You will then travel 45 minutes through a wildlife area towards the Botswana border. You will spend the next 3 nights at a beautiful lodge overlooking the Zambezi River.

Once you have settled in and relaxed, there will be a delicious afternoon tea. This will be followed by a game drive during which you may spot Buffalo coming down to the water to drink and pods of Hippo.

Day 2: Zambezi River

Wake up in the early morning and go on a tranquil river cruise as the sun rises. Cruise down the river to a point where four countries (Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia and Namibia) meet. You can experience technically being in four countries at the same moment. See lots of water birds, perhaps a herd of Elephant coming down to drink. Alternatively, set out on a fishing trip and try your luck fishing for the fierce Tiger Fish.

Return to a sumptuous brunch served outdoors by the pool. Spend some time relaxing on the veranda and perhaps see animals such as Impala come down to drink at the waterhole, have a refreshing swim in the pool or a siesta.

In the afternoon tuck into a delicious High tea before going on a game drive. See herds of Wildebeest or perhaps a pride of lion resting in the shade.

Day 3: Zambezi River - Chobe National Park (Botswana)

Today, you will wake up and enjoy a hearty breakfast before being driven across the border into Botswana for a full day safari in the Chobe National Park. The Park is renowned for its huge Elephant population, and during the dry winter months, they gather in great numbers along the river. You may see Lion, large herds of Buffalo, Zebra and Impala.

You will stop off for a refreshing picnic lunch in a shady spot, allowing you to stretch your legs. You will then continue your game viewing before re-crossing the border and going back to your lodge in Zimbabwe.

Day 4: Victoria Falls - Johannesburg

In the morning after an early breakfast, you will pack up and say goodbye, before being driven back to the Victoria Falls Airport to catch your return flight back to Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport.
