Luangwa River Boat Safaris
Chikunto Safari Lodge can be reached directly by boat via the Luangwa River during the Emerald Season, which runs from mid-February to late April/early May. During this time you can enjoy morning game drives combined with an afternoon boat ride and a leisurely sundowner while floating down the Luangwa River.
Look out for crocodiles and hippos as the numerous bird species that call the riverbanks home.
