Bush Walks for the Win
Walking safaris at Tanda Tula are led by highly experienced guides and trackers whose focus is on tracking big game such as lion, elephant, buffalo and rhino. Each walk offers a highly informative and exciting experience, bringing you closer to nature as you learn the art of tracking, birding, and tree and plant identification.
Each walk lasts around 3-4 hours and can be arranged at a time best suitable for you. A game drive vehicle is also available for your exclusive use on guided game drives.
Bird Lovers Assemble!
After brunch, relax under the trees, sneak off for a siesta in your private tent, or put your feet up with a crisp G&T at the main mess tent area. This is the perfect spot to dabble in a bit of bird watching with your guide. And, since the camp is completely unfenced, birds and animals often move freely through the camp.
Don’t Forget About Dinner...
Upon arrival back in camp after a full day of activities in the Klaserie concession, expect aperitifs served right on time around the fire, followed by your chef’s special bush dinners prepared over the coals. Listen out to the symphony of nocturnal sounds, while your guide shares stories on African history and folklore.
