Satao Camp is built around a very busy waterhole; guests on a Kenya vacation will be amazed at the herds of African Elephant coming to drink as well as numerous other game. Impala graze around the camp and guests can view all the game from their own verandas or get a bird’s eye view from the viewing platform or observation tower.

Guests can also see huge herds of Elephant, stained red from the ochre coloured dust, amongst Buffalo, Zebra, Giraffe, and Antelope, Waterbuck, Oryx and smaller wildlife to name only a few. Bird watchers will be delighted with the variety, around 500 species with Kestrel and Buzzard amongst the migratory birds.
At breakfast, guests have a wide choice from Continental to Full English and more besides. Lunch is served outdoors around a 200 year old Tamarind tree while guests watch Elephant at the waterhole, after a sumptuous dinner there is night game viewing and socialising around the camp fire.
