Inzalo Safari Lodge is located in the malaria-free Welgevonden Game Reserve which forms part of the Waterberg in the Limpopo province of South Africa.
The Welgevonden Game Reserve in Limpopo is a mecca for safari-lovers who may have already done the Kruger and are looking for something different. It is brimming with wildlife (especially the favourite Big 5’ers) and also offers an opportunity to witness ancient San rock art.
Its malaria-free status and wonderful weather makes it worth a visit all year round and it is incredibly easy to reach, especially if you are coming from the city of Johannesburg. It takes just under three hours via road, but it’s important to note that private vehicles are not allowed in the reserve. Secure parking is available at all entrance gates from where you will be collected by the Inzalo Safari Lodge staff.
We can also arrange a flight transfer should you be short on time or simply just eager to get there. You can expect an easy 45-minute flight from Johannesburg into one of the reserve’s two airstrips from where we can arrange a private transfer straight to the lodge. During your transfer, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for wild game. We are strong believers in beginner’s luck, especially at his reserve!
