Big Five Safaris
Located close by, guests will be whisked from the lodge to the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve for wonderful Big Five game viewing amongst other wildlife. The duration of these safari programmes range from 3, 6, 8 or 10 hours. The park covers 96 000 hectares, combining two of the oldest game reserves in South Africa. Back at Emdoneni, guests can enjoy guided bush walks and hikes and abundant birdlife.
Zululand Cat Conservation Project
Guests will be able to see Cheetah, Caracal (Lynx), African Wildcat and Serval. These endangered cats have been orphaned or injured and taken in by the centre for care. Where possible any offspring from the breeding programme is released back into their natural environment.
