Honeyguide Camp aims to offer an authentic safari in South Africa. There are even specialist safaris for those guests who don't want to go around in a safari vehicle. With armed rangers and trackers on your side, you can traverse the bush on foot, feeling more in contact with nature and truly learning about all its aspects.
Game drives will be conducted in the early morning and the late afternoon, almost early evening. The reason for this is that the wildlife are most active in these hours, getting a drink of water or hunting.
During game drives, refreshments and snacks are served at a remote spot in the bush, offering views over the surrounding area.
In between game viewing activities, guests can enjoy the lodge's swimming pool or browse through the intimate library of books. Alternatively, visit the Welverdiend Village on a cultural tour to learn about the local way of life.
A romantic African sunset will mesmerise you as you watch the glowing orange sun fall behind the hills, giving off shades of orange, red, yellow and sometimes purple.
