Game drives through the Zambezi National Park are a glorious experience. Journey into the bush twice a day along with an experienced game guide in a safari vehicle to track an abundance of wildlife, including elephant, lion, buffalo and leopard, sable antelope, eland, zebra, giraffe, kudu, waterbuck and impala.
On morning drives guests nibble on rusks and sip on hot beverages while witnessing the African sunrise. Late in the afternoon a sundowner game drive embarks into the bush for another chance to track an abundance of game and to witness the majestic sunset while sipping a refreshing beverage.
Victoria Falls River Lodge is situated on the banks of the Zambezi River, close to the Victoria Falls, inviting guests to explore the Zambezi National Park on an epic sunset Zambezi River cruise. The river cruise is perfect to witness the splendour of the park, the African sunset and the extraordinary wildlife.
Zambezi River cruises are scheduled to during morning and afternoon, and are conducted by professional field guides.
In the Zambezi National Park over 400 recorded species of bird soar the skies of Zimbabwe, and can be observed throughout the lodge. Among the species that bird enthusiasts can spot are African Finfoot, Half Collared Kingfisher, Rock Pratincole and Western Banded Snake Eagle.
Other activities such as canoeing safaris, fishing and walking safaris can be arranged at an additional cost.
