Tshwene Lodge is ideally nestled in the foothills of the Waterberg Mountains just 3 hours north of Johannesburg. Tshwene Lodge is situated in the Welgevonden Private Game Reserve, which covers roughly 37 000 hectares of unspoilt wilderness in the heart of the Northern Province and is home to over 320 species of birds, antelope and game, including the 'Big Five'.

Take the N1 north to Pietersburg / Polokwane
At the Kranskop toll gate, keep left to Nylstroom / Marble Hall
At the T-junction turn left towards Nylstroom / Modimolle and continue straight on for approximately 70km (43.4 Milers) to Vaalwater / Mabatlane
Continue through Vaalwater / Mabatlane on the Thabazimbi road for approximately 24km (14.88 Miles) and turn left at the Welgevonden main gate
(Do not turn left at south gate or East gate.)
