At Kanga Camp, your Zimbabwe safari in Mana Pools will reveal just how special this area is for exceptional game viewing. The Kanga Pan is right in front of your tent and you will be enthralled with the great variety of wildlife that visits to drink and refresh. All the guest areas face the pan including the splash pool.
The Kanga Pan is a very active waterhole all year round because it is the only water resource for many miles. It is visited by Elephant, Buffalo and plenty of plains game such as Zebra, Waterbuck and Kudu. Where there is abundant plains game you’ll find many predators too. Apart from the resident Lion pride, there is Leopard, Cheetah, Hyena and Crocodile also.
The Kanga Conservancy is an untamed wilderness. You can embark on a walking safari directly from camp and explore an area that is renowned for this activity. Game drives also take place in the early morning and evening. Kanga Camp is a 1 hour drive from the Zambezi River. By prior request, you can arrange with the camp to go canoeing on the Zambezi River or have a full-day safari in the area.
