Safari at Garden Route Safari Camp

At Garden Route Safari Camp, situated along the Garden Route, bird watching, bush walks and 4x4 guided game drives are at the top of the agenda.

A Garden Route Safari Experience

There is plenty to do along the Garden Route, and the Garden Route Game Lodge is a great add-on to any holiday itinerary, especially here, if you are looking for a safari experience. The private reserve on which it is located is malaria-free, and  home to a bounty of birds and animals that you can tick off your bucket list.

Guided game drives led by qualified rangers, who within two to three hours will have you snapping up pictures of lion, giraffe, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, eland, and impala, to name but a few.

Bush Walks and Birding

During your experience at Garden Route Safari Camp, you can also take things at a slower pace with late morning bush walks led by experienced trackers.  Here not only will you see all kinds of general game species, but you’ll also discover plenty of fynbos plants and tree species that prove integral to the local ecosystem. Since bush walks are much quieter than game drives, you’ll also likely encounter more birds as you trek along.

Explore More of the Garden Route
