Your Little Kulala Experience

Resting in a dry riverbed in the Kulala Wilderness Reserve, this Namibia desert lodge has similar design features to its sister lodge, Kulala Desert Lodge but is more intimate, with just 11 chalets.

This Sossusvlei safari lodge will give you the ultimate feeling of space, even more so at night when the infinite number of stars seem to tumble towards you. With no light pollution, the milky way is highly visible, and so are shooting stars that blaze across the sky every few minutes.

You can watch all this from the privacy of your own very special stargazing platform on top of your chalet, and even sleep the entire night up there for an incredible sense of freedom.

Desert adapted animals such as the magnificent-horned Oryx (also called Gemsbok) are often seen and your guide will tell you how they manage to survive in a place where rainfall is extremely erratic and unpredictable, and evaporation is rapid.
