Dugong Beach Lodge is situated on the eastern coast of Mozambique within the Vilanculos Coastal Wildlife Sanctuary. Guests can access the lodge by boat. The boat departs from Vilanculos, Mozambique, and takes about 30 to 40 minutes, depending on the tide.
Guests can also access Dugong Beach Lodge via air transfer. Visitors will depart from Vilanculos, Mozambique, and take a 10 minute flight across the bay to Dugong Beach Lodge's air strip. From here guests will take a 25 minute road transfer to this Mozambique lodge.
Guests can arrive at Vilanculos from South Africa. Vilanculos International Airport is approximately a 2 hour flight from Johannesburg, South Africa. Guests can also depart from Nelspruit, South Africa. The flight takes about one and a half hours.
