Where is Maramba River Lodge, near Livingstone

Maramba River Lodge is situated in The Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia, a breeding ground of an abundance of resident wildlife species.

The Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park is situated along the upper part of the Zambezi River, which is the origin of the must-see Victoria Falls. A tranquil atmosphere is experienced throughout game drives in the park as there are no predators to disrupt the calmness of nature. The park is also accredited as an UNESCO World Heritage site. Resting on the banks of the Maramba River, the lodge is protected from the heat by its natural woodland setting.

The Maramba River, next to which the lodge is built, is home to hippos and crocodiles as well as an abundance of bird species that are almost constantly roaming the banks of the river. Embrace the joy of the wild as you witness families of hippos and elephants frolicking in the nearby water. Baboons are also a common site on the camping grounds as they try their best to blend in with their guests.

Livingstone, a historic British colonial city that has transportation links to Zimbabwe, is only a short drive from the lodge. The Victoria Falls can be reached in a short 4km drive or walk from the lodge.
