Elephant and Sable Antelope can be spotted in large numbers in the area around Mvuu Camp. Hippo, Impala, Crocodile and Waterbuck are also seen frequently. Different animal species have been reintroduced from the world-renowned Kruger National Park in South Africa.
Mvuu Camp is a spectacular bird watching area as African Fish Eagle, African Skimmer, Pel's Fishing Owl and Palmnut Vulture are fairly common. Among the specials are Lilian's Lovebird, Bohm's Beeeater, Livingstone's Flycatcher, Whitebacked Night Heron, Brownbreasted Barbet and Bat Hawk.
