Tucked away in the beautiful Kamberg Valley of Mooi Rivier, scenic walks, swimming and hiking are among the activities that guests can enjoy.
A ten-minute road drive will take you to the destination where horse riding on Appaloosa horses is made possible.
The duration of each excursion is approximately two and a half hours and will take you over the hills and give you scenic views of the mountain. Full and half-day tours are also available.
Fishing is available year round in the Little Mooi Rivier, Highmoor and Kamberg rivers. The rivers are stocked with Brown and Rainbow Trout.
Guests can also enjoy swimming at the farmhouse on hot summer days.
Cycling routes are conveniently located just down the road, though guests must bring their own bicycles.
Kamberg is celebrated as one of South Africa’s top 10 mountain biking destinations, offering incredible trails for all skill levels. Our neighbour, Glengarry, boasts a 15km purpose-built single-track route, exclusively available to guests.

Horse riding in the Drakensberg is a highly popular activity, located approximately 25 minutes away. Each ride lasts around 2½ hours, offering breathtaking views of rolling hills and majestic mountain scenery.
While riders of all levels are welcome, some prior riding experience, even at a novice level, is preferred. The well-trained horses are suited to various terrains, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
