Stonecutters Lodge lies in a beautiful setting between mountains and river. It offers a base for malaria-free holidays and excursions to nearby game lodges and well-known tourist attractions. The climate varies from hot summer days with afternoon rain showers to warm winter days and cold nights.
Only 2 and a half hours' drive from the Johannesburg International airport. From Johannesburg or Pretoria take the N12 or N4 to Witbank/Middelburg. Continue on the N4 towards Nelspruit through the toll plaza and exit the highway at the turnoff to Belfast (approximately 64km from Middelburg).
At the second 4-way stop in Belfast turn right at the Dullstroom signboard. Continue through Dullstroom towards Lydenburg. Thirty-four kilometres from Dullstroom is a roadsign indicating 'Lydenburg 20km' and approximately 450 metres further along on a bend in the road is the Stonecutters signboard on the left.
Turn left onto a 1km dirt road. Bear left at the fork in front of the gates to Stonecutters, proceed through the gates and continue to Reception.
Stonecutters can also be reached with a 45 minute charter flight to the nearby Lydenburg airstrip
