Getting to Spionkop Lodge
Directions From Johannesburg
After Tugela Plaza you take the interchange 230, turn left towards Ladysmith and take the R600 on the right - sign is clearly posted. From Durban you can take the N3 towards Johannesburg, then exit at the interchange 194, left towards Bergville you continue through Winterton and take the R600 on right - sign is clearly posted.Directions From Durban
Take the N3 to Johannesburg. Approximately 6km after the Ultra-City Garage near Estcourt, take the Bergville off-ramp on the left. At the top of the off-ramp go left to Bergville /Winterton 22km. Travel through Winterton and about 1km after the town, take the R600 road to the right, indicating Spion Kop Lodge /Spioenkop Dam / Ladysmith. The Lodge is about 16 km on the R600 just after the dam turn-off on the right hand side.
