iSimangaliso Wetland Park was previously known as the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park and is on the east coast of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. The park stretches along 280 km of coastline and is made up of natural ecosystems in this third-largest protected area in South Africa. Included in this area are marine sanctuaries and reserves, Lake St Lucia, Sodwana Bay National Park, Mkuze Game Reserve and Tembe Elephant Park.South Africa

This world heritage site has a rich biodiversity, natural beauty and unique ecosystems. The ecosystems ranges from coral reefs, sandy beaches, savannas, wetlands and subtropical dune forests.
