Situated on the Eastern Boundary of Hwange National Park, The Hide Camp is one of the few Zimbabwe lodging in the National Park itself. Unlike other camps in the area, long drives from the Camp to the Park are not necessary and the wildlife migration on the private concession is second to none.
Guests are accommodated in 10 luxury East African tents with an en-suite bathroom. The whole tent at this Zimbabwe lodging is under thatch and insect proofed. All the tents have a deck area with chairs where guests can relax and watch wildlife such as Buffalo and Giraffe wander down to the waterhole to drink.
The Hide is a luxurious retreat and the staff members make a real effort to give you an experience of a lifetime. There are over 108 species of mammal, 400 recorded species of bird and over 25,000 Elephant. There is nothing more exciting than to spend the night and have breakfast in the bird hide. There is an underground tunnel from the main living area to the new underground hide for easy access to view wildlife. Off the underground tunnel, there is an underground wine cellar boasting fine wines.
Regretfully children under 10 years of age cannot be accommodated at the camp. Exceptions can be made by prior arrangement at the discretion of the manager.
