Your Ubuntu Camp Experience

What sets this mobile camp apart from the rest of the Serengeti camps is that it moves along with the Great Wildebeest Migration, taking game viewing to newer heights.

Ubuntu Migration Camp follows the path of the Great Wildebeest Migration across the Serengeti, placing you right at the heart of nature’s most spectacular show.

From July to October, the camp settles in the northern Serengeti, where you can witness the breathtaking drama of river crossings as thousands of wildebeest brave the Mara River.

Then, from January to mid-March, it moves to the southern Serengeti, where the landscape comes alive with new life during the calving season, which is a time of abundance, beauty, and raw wilderness energy.

En-suite tented Serengeti National Park accommodation is offered at the Ubuntu Camp, and a chance to track an abundance of wildlife. At Ubuntu camp, true Tanzanian hospitality and Ubuntuism (the act of human kindness) is experienced at the hands of the friendly and attentive staff.

Game drives are constructed around the best game viewing times - early in the morning and late in the afternoon. Magnificent Serengeti wanderers like lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, elephant, giraffe can be spotted on traditional game drives, however the true highlight of this seasonal camp is the Great Wildebeest Migration.
