Tsavo East National Park, Kenya is part of the Greater Tsavo Park, one of the oldest and largest in the country. Close to Mombasa, this wildlife area is ideal for sea and safari packages.

A leading biodiversity stronghold with beautiful landscapes, Tsavo East National Park, Kenya has endless bushy grasslands and plains, semi-arid Acacia scrub and woodlands, with lush vegetation along the Galana River.

Across the river is one of the worlds largest lava flows, the 300km (186 mile) long Yatta Plateau. On the Galana River visitors can see the Lugard Falls and the remarkably shaped water-worn rocks; the river then flows onward to the Indian Ocean. Tsavo East is wonderful for photographers because of the excellent light and views.

Many different animals can be seen in Tsavo East such as Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Hyena, Hartebeest, Giraffe and a wide variety of Antelope. The largest herds seen are Elephant and Buffalo. This area also has around 500 bird species including Ostrich and migratory Kestrel and Buzzard.
