Mwamba Bush Camp is a small and friendly Zambia accommodation with only three reed and thatch en-suite chalets. All of the suites have outdoor en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets and hot bucket showers. Lighting and hot water are powered by solar panels.
A spectacular African sunset on top of a large termite mound and a glowing campfire under the stars completes the camp's friendly and personal atmosphere.
Mwamba is a very remote Zambia accommodation and for those who want to experience the ultimate sense of African wilderness, 'camp-outs' under a mosquito next close to a roaring fire is available. A leisurely three-hour walk leads you back to Mwamba's sister camp - Kiango Camp, where a more watery safari by the Luangwa River awaits you.
Meals are varied and of a high standard using abundant fresh produce from the Shenton family farm. The bush-style dining and bar area (or 'chitenge'), is set deep into the shade of giant ebony trees.
