The Chobe area in Botswana includes the famous Chobe National Park, which is also home to the Linyanti Reserve and the Savute Channel. Kasane is known as the northern gateway to Chobe National Park.
Linyanti is located along the northwestern edge of Chobe National Park and boasts elephants, lions, wild dogs, cheetahs and leopards. Savuti is situated in the southwestern corner of Chobe and is famous for the Savute Channel which was dry for over 30 years and now flows again, attracting a myriad of wildlife.
