Location of Davisons Camp in Hwange

Located on the border with Botswana, Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe was proclaimed some 75 years ago and provides sanctuary for one of the densest concentrations of game in Africa.

The great herds of Cape Buffalo and Elephant (almost 30 000) are a sight to see in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe. With over 100 mammal species, Hwange is a major wildlife hotspot for any national park in the world. Lion and Leopard are regularly encountered on a Zimbabwe safari. Amongst all the big game, equally fascinating and specialised small carnivores include Bat-eared Fox, Side-striped Jackal and Selous’ Mongoose. The Linkwasha Concession and Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe provides consistently good viewing of specialised species such as Roan, Sable, White Rhino and Eland.
