The 5 tented rooms are open-fronted, blending in seamlessly with the natural environment and boasting superb views of the distant mountain and surrounding forest.
Two of the tents are honeymoon suites; these are larger and have open fronts and outside showers. All the rooms at this Selous safari accommodation in Tanzania have mosquito nets, 24-hour electricity, and an en-suite bathroom, with a hot shower and toilet.
Sable Mountain Lodge has two separate bar and dining areas. Your meals will be served in one of them, depending on where your room is in the camp. On the southern side of the camp, there is a tree-house overlooking a waterhole. Regular sightings include Elephants, Buffalo, and Zebra and in the months of November and December the rare Sable Antelope emerge from the hills seeking water.
