Discovering Tembe Elephant Park Game Lodge

The Tembe Elephant Lodge experience will take you to a far-away world of Africa as it once was, unspoilt, natural, and light years away from the pressures of civilisation.

Experience the majesty of the largest and only indigenous African Elephant herd (more than 150 Elephants!) in KwaZulu- Natal, South Africa during an action packed morning and evening safari drive. Black and white rhino , buffalo, leopard, hippo, serval, eland, zebra, giraffe, hyena, jackal, wildebeest, nyala, kudu, to name a few are the small mammals thrive in abundance.

Tembe is also home to the rare and elusive Suni antelope, one of the smallest and shyest species of buck in Southern Africa, and the patient game-viewer is often rewarded with a sighting.

Guests can go for bird watching at Ndumo Game Reserve, boat trips across the Kosi Lake System, snorkelling and scuba diving at prime dive venues - Kosi Bay, Black Rock and Rocktail Bay. Other activities include Turtle watching along the coast from Kosi to Ponte de Oro (Seasonal) and exploring Lake Sibaya and the coastal forests.

Conferencing

A modern, fully equipped conference facility is situated within the Tembe Elephant Park, just a few minutes' drive away from the Tembe Elephant Lodge. This conference room can cater for up to 40 delegates. The conference room is air-conditioned and has an overhead projector and screen, television, facilities.
