Activities on your safari in Zambia generally consist of morning walks and afternoon game drives. A motor boat for afternoon game viewing on the Zambezi River is also available. Transport to get you around on your safari in Zambia includes 2 LandRovers and one motor boat.

A day in the life on your safari in Zambia starts with a wake-up call about 15 minutes before sunrise. Guests meet by the campfire for a light breakfast and depart for morning safari activity soon after.

You then return to camp about 11am and a brunch buffet with optional full English breakfast is served around midday.

At this point, you are able to take a break form your safari in Zambia until afternoon tea which is served around 3:30pm with sweet and savoury snacks before the afternoon activity which usually culminates in a night drive returning to camp about 8pm.

Drinks and snacks are served at the bar or by the camp fire until a 3 course dinner is served. Coffee and liqueurs are offered after dinner and guests typically turn in from a full day of safari in Zambia around 10pm.

Old Mondoro has an unblemished safety record and takes precautions to maintain this. All guests are given comprehensive briefings upon arrival and before activities, and all activities throughout your safari in Zambia are led by qualified and experienced guides with First Aid training.

Each tent has a whistle to call management in an emergency. Old Mondoro has 24 hour contact with the rest of the world via Chiawa Camp.
