Blyde River Canyon Lodge is located at the entrance of the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve along the beautiful Panorama Route and close to the Kruger National Park, South Africa.

Blyde River Canyon Lodge is ideally situated along the scenic Panorama Route in South Africa. The well known Kruger National Park is located only a 35-minute drive away, making Blyde River Canyon Lodge an ideal base to explore the area from.

This lodge is located at the entrance of the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve (also known as Motlatse Canyon Provincial Nature Reserve). The area has a diverse range of indigenous flora and fauna, including Hippo, Zebra, Wildebeest and Kudu. Guests can easily access Blyde River Canyon Lodge by car from Johannesburg and Pretoria.

From Johannesburg, Gauteng:

From Johannesburg, take the N12 and drive past Witbank and Middelburg to Belfast. Turn onto the R540 and drive towards Dullstroom and Lydenberg. Then take the R36 to Ohrigstad. Drive through the Strijdom Tunnel and Abel Erasmus Pass.

Take the R527 to Hoedspruit and turn right onto the Driehoek Road. Then turn right at the T-junction. Drive for about 500m (0.31 miles) and turn right at the Blyde River Botanical Reserve. This will lead you to the Blyde River Canyon Lodge.
