Kingfisher Lodge is located on the banks of scenic Lake Entabeni in the 22 000 hectare Entabeni Game Reserve in Limpopo, South Africa. Kingfisher Lodge is situated in the beautiful Waterberg region surrounded by sandstone mountains and striking waterfalls.
Guest can access Kingfisher Lodge easily either by air or road. Guests can take a charter flight from Johannesburg and land at Entabeni Game Reserve's private landing strip. The charter flight will take about 35 minutes.
Directions to Entabeni Game Reserve
From Johannesburg
Take the N1 North Highway past Pretoria to Pietersburg and continue through the Kranskop Toll gate. Travel a further 32km (19.88 miles) on the N1 and take the Naboomspruit R101 exit (Route 289). Continue for 8km (4.97 miles) to Naboomspruit.
In Naboomspruit, turn left at the traffic light in the town centre (R520) and continue for another 11km (6.83 miles) until you reach a T-junction. At the T-junction, turn left and continue for 500m (0.31 miles) and turn right at the Marken sign.
Stay on the tar road for about 23.8km (14.78 miles) until the road becomes a gravel road. Continue for another 21.5km (13.35 miles) until you see the Entabeni Game Reserve sign on your right. Turn right and drive 3.3l, (2.05 miles) until you reach the security entrance gate.
