Bitterwasser Lodge is situated between Uhlenhorst and Hoachanas in Namibia and ideal for travellers heading south who wish to escape the busy main road. The road to Bitterwasser takes you through fascinating landscapes of red dunes alternating with white pans. The continually varying colours of the wide-open spaces never fail to impress visitors.
The 55 square kilometres of farmland are now a game park with different local animal species. On the dune west of the pan the sunset is particularly impressing. Therefore it is the regular target for afternoon sundowners, for instance after a drive through the 'small' game park.
