Baines' River Camp is ideally situated on the northern banks of the scenic and majestic Lower Zambezi River in Zambia. Adjacent to Baines' River Camp is the Lower Zambezi National Park. This safari lodge in Zambia is also situated directly opposite Mana Pools in Zimbabwe.
Getting There
Guests can access Baines' River Camp by air charter from Lusaka Livingstone or Mfuwe. The charter flight from Lusaka will take about 30 minutes while the flights from Living stone and Mfuwe will take about an hour and 45 minutes.
The more adventurous traveller can drive to Baines' River Camp. However, as the road is extremely rough in places, especially the last 60km (37.28 miles), a 4x4 vehicle is strongly recommended. Alternatively you can drive as far as Gwabi River Lodge and be transferred to Baines' River camp by boat.
