Game Drives
Experience thrilling daily game drives in 4x4 safari vehicles with pop up roofs. Driving within the Serengeti is an optional extra on this safari in Tanzania and keen photographers will be introduced to endless photo opportunities. Game and bird viewing opportunities in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area are exceptional. You may request the sole use of a specialised 4x4 vehicle for game viewing, but this is at your own expense.
Walking Safaris and Cultural Interaction
Guided walking safaris follow a dramatic route, skirting the rim of the crater and are an optional extra. You are also invited to visit a Maasai cultural village, situated in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. In the village, guests are free to walk around, browse through the local handicrafts or watch Maasai dancing.
Day Trips and Sightseeing
You can visit Ndutu Lake and Eyasi Lake, and the impressive Empakaai Crater on your African safari in Tanzania. The Olduvai Gorge and Shifting Sands tour takes you to the cradle of humankind where the earliest remains of homo sapiens were found. Shifting Sands, volcanic ash dunes, is a beautiful sight offering great photographic opportunities.
Bush Dining and Sundowners
At this Africa lodge you can also enjoy deliciously cool sundowners with exceptional views, as well as private bush breakfasts and lunches. An optional Crater Floor Banquet takes you on a scenic descent to the crater floor for a private picnic served by a personalised butler service. Wine Sommelier Sessions consist of a Tanzania Signature wine tasting or a tasting and a meal.

Have your wedding blessed by a traditional Masai elder in an option between 6 wedding blessing ceremonies. Wedding blessings at the Ngorongoro Crater can be tailor made to suit your every requirement. You may decide to have a special and romantic wedding for 2 on the private deck of your room or on the Tree Camp deck. Should your wedding consist of several guests or more a wedding on the deck the North or South Camps or again, at Tree Camp, can be arranged.
