Game Viewing

Night and day game drives in open-sided safari vehicles, tracking the Desert Black Rhino with experienced trackers, walking trails with knowledgeable rangers, sundowners on the crest of a lantern-lit dune watching the spectacular Kalahari sunset, bird watching, mountain dining at Koranna Lookout.

Horseback Safaris

Horseback rides in Tswalu Kalahari Reserve are escorted by a fully qualified riding instructor. The 1-6 hour rides include mountain rides, sunset dune rides and day rides. Bush walks led by experienced rangers and trackers giving guests an insight into the local vegetation, bush medicines, cosmetics and hunting skills of the San People skills.

Day Tours

As part of the game drives, guests will be able to visit the Mokwalo site (Tswana for 'engravings'), renowned for its Bushman history. The site is from the later Stone Age and guests may examine tools from this period, as well as San engravings and one of the most developed group of cupules in the world.

Tsalu Kalahari Spa
