Phinda Private Game Reserve, South Africa is accessible by road with a two-wheel drive vehicle. Driving time from Johannesburg is 6 hours and from Durban is 3 hours, on excellent roads.

Climate

Phinda has a subtropical climate with hot, humid, wet summers (September to April) and warm to cool, dry winters (May to August). Rainfall averages about 1 000mm/39” per annum at Phinda Private Game Reserve in South Africa.
